Aluminum Cylinders
With half of the weight of their equivalent steel models, aluminum cylinders provide an impressive power to weight ratio and the convenience of a lighter cylinder making them easier to transport and move into position on site. Aluminum is inherently less corrosive than steel which makes it a great material for use in many caustic environments.
- RAC-Series Lightweight Hydraulic Cylinders are single-acting, with a high-strength return spring for rapid cylinder retraction, and an integral stop ring prevents plunger over-travel. RAC cylinders come equipped with bolt-on removable hardened steel saddles and base plates.
- RAS-Series are lightweight, single-acting cylinders equipped with a high-strength return spring for quick retraction. They also feature an integral stop ring to prevent plunger over-travel, along with bolt-on removable hardened steel saddles and base plates for added durability.
- RAL- Series include lock nuts for secure mechanical load holding, ensuring safety during operations. It also features a spring return mechanism and comes with a stop ring, hardened steel saddle, and base plate, similar to the other models, but with the added benefit of a lock nut for extra safety.
- RACD-Series Cylinders are double-acting, designed for high-cycle industrial applications. These cylinders provide faster extension and retraction, making them ideal for demanding operations that require more control and speed. The design also includes bolt-on removable hardened steel saddles and base plates for enhanced durability.
Steel Cylinders
The Simplex R, RC, and RLS series steel cylinders are designed for durability and safety with features like low-wear, high-pressure seals, replaceable composite plunger support bearings, and a rugged nitrocarburized finish. These cylinders are ideal for a range of heavy-duty applications, offering a maximum working pressure of 10,000 psi (700 bar).
- R Series Cylinders are single-acting, offering reliable performance in heavy duty lifting and pressing applications. Custom strokes and capacities up to 1500 tons can be ordered.
- RC Series Cylinders are single or double-acting, designed for faster and more controlled retraction, includes a large center hole for greater flexibility.
- RLS Series Cylinders feature a lock nut for safe mechanical load holding, ensuring stability over extended periods. These cylinders are single-acting with load return for enhanced durability and performance.
- RCD Series Cylinders are double-acting with high-cycle performance, ideal for continuous industrial operations. They offer greater speed and control, making them suitable for demanding applications.
- RFS Series Cylinders are single-acting with spring return, featuring a compact design perfect for confined spaces. These cylinders are commonly used for maintenance and positioning tasks where space is limited.
